So I bought my 2002 cbr f4i in January. I was wondering if the fairings from and 04 would fit on an 04? The seat I have on my bike is a banana seat and I need new fairings cause mine are trashed (thanks to my brother). Is there any difference in how they mount onto the bike? Or it just the same?

 

I have heard of the split seat conversion but never heard of a banana seat conversion.

The front and side fairings are identical between the 2 models as the only difference is the tail fairing.
The 01-03 had the split seat and the 04-06 had the banana seat, So if your tail fairing is a banana seat the I would assume (if conversion was done correctly) then the fairings should fit.
