RE: Stock fender modification of 05 F4i?
Thanks for your opinion stinger... and I agree with your statement about spending the extra 100 bones, and If I had that money to spend on a piece of metal I would. In my opinion, it will look just as good if I do a well planned modification of the stock fender for free. If it looks extremely terrible I'll spring for that overpriced piece of bent metal, but for now I'm trying to save my money. I'll let you guys know how it looks when I'm finished.

I cut mine and moved the light/tag bracket up on mine to..Just straight edged it.lined it with tag and used a box cutter to cut it..Looks great..
I want a CW eleminator but would much rather spend money on more important things (exhaust, riding gear etc)

I don't understand why people will go and spend thousands of $ on a bike and then do a half *** hacksaw fender eliminator that looks like crap. Spend the $100 and get one from competition werkes.

Finished, and it looks pretty damn good I must say. Used the License and Light bracket that I drilled a couple holes for next to the lock, cut off the excess fender (and I use the word excess loosely) with a razor blade, and shaved the roughness with a grinder attachment.
Still a little more cleaning up to do but here are some pics for you guys. I also peeled off the honda wings/F4i logos on the sides, let me know if you like it.
