Default Spools?

New to the F4i thing. I just got some spools and I have no idea where to put them. I know they go on the swingarm, but do I have to drill and tap my own holes?

F4i is not set up for swingarm spools like the 600/1000RR's are, so yes, you indeed need to drill and tap your own holes into the swingarm. While it has been done probably many times before, I still strongly suggest NOT doing this, as the swingarm is a structural component. That's just my opinion though. I'd just get a rear stand with the little swingarm pads on it... they work just fine

The real way to do it would be to have someone TIG weld a tab onto the bottom of the swingarm that you can tap into. Spools mounted through the axle doesn't seem very useful, since every other time youput the bike up on the stand, you're gonna be pulling the rear wheel. At least that's what I do... just stick with a pad type or pad/spool combo rear stand.
