Default f2 spools

hey i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put swingarm spools on a 1994 cbr f2.. i looked at my swingarm like 40 million times and don't see a place to put them but keep running across a website that sells f2 swingarm spools somebody please tell me what iam missing lol

There is not a place to put them on.

You could potentially weld some on to your swingarm. I've considered doing it!

I wonder why some places dont make a semi "universal" clamp on spool mount.

I welded up a homemade swingarm stand over the weekend - putting finishing touches on it this week. I also have a plan to make a jacking mount that would quickly install into the centerstand mount for when you need to lift the bike without the swingarm stand.

i was thinking about drilling a whole and tapping it to screw the spools into. thats agood idea with the universal spools we should make them and sell em lol

Drilling and tapping a hole in the swingarm isn't particularly wise, espescially since the material is already a bit on the thin side for doing what you're thinking!

I like the center stand attaching home made stand though! That is slick!

thats why i didn't do it bc i don't want it weak. but i was also thinking make a little bracket and tig weld it to the bottom of the swingarm

THAT would work. I've thought about getting some round stock scraps, and welding it onto the swing arm. Drill and tap it, and you're golden!

I don't trust myself with anything thinner than about 1/8" material. Even with access to a nice big miller MIG machine, I'm able to make metal stick to other metal - not make it look pretty.

:-)
