Default Spools

Anyone here rocking spools on their F1? I searched and there was nothing really specific to the F1 on here...

Nobody? I have an idea which may or may not work. I found a large piece of alum that is EXACTLY the size of the swingarm (lucky find at my works scrap bin). I figure I will cut it down and grind it to fit in the swingarm. Drill it, tap it, bobs your uncle.

Hey bro, are spools those things that you fit on to the swing arm to use a rear stand with? Put some pics up when you do them coz it sounds like a cool idea

Yeah, bobbins you may know them as. I've got a set of stands that require them... the stands came with the spools, just there is no way to attach them.

They're good stands probably better than mine which hold the arms underneath and can let the bike slide off them. Go for it you'll make it work bro

Well I hacked something together. May not be the prettiest solution but it works. Just cut some think alum plates and bolted them to the end of the swingarm. Doesn't affect the chain adj at all.

Good work and will make life much easier for routine maintenance.

Yeah I like that idea.. I have the universal below the swingarm stand and it likes to slip & move around.
