Default Speedo LED color change?

Hey everyone! I found a kit on ebay that claims you can change the color of the leds in the speedo and tach to red. I was wondering if anyone has pictures of theirs or any info on them. any help? Thanks

I've seen it. I don't remember where I saw the pics. I believe u have to remove the old leds and solder on the new ones.

The kit just provides you with new LEDs. You have to take apart the gauge, desolder the many many pins holding on the LCDs and a few screws for the tach, then desolder the LEDs, resolder new ones on, then put it all back together. It is NOT recommended for anyone who doesn't at least have good soldering practice.

There are a couple companies who will do it if you send them your gauges, though. Scott @ BlueGauges did mine and did a great job.

$75 plus the cost to ship the gauges there.

Here is an old picture of the ones I did for my test set. I can't seem to find the pictures of the one on my bike, but they are the exact same except with a working LCD

Digikey has all the parts you need also. I think I spent ~$20-25 for the LED's and resistors at digikey.
