Default Gauge color change help

I changed my gauge color to blue about 2 months ago and the other day I noticed that one on my tach when out so I took it apart and found 2 were out on the tach and 2 were out behind the speedo screen.
What could have caused this? You don't need to change the resistors do you?
I was in a hurry taking it apart to fix it and pretty much ruined my gauges by tearing off traces and what not.The cheapest f4i gauge I can find on ebay is $150, so I was curious if there was any other bike gauges that would work with my bike? I think I remember Z attempting this but gave up since he couldn't get much help.
Thanks for the help guys, I'll post up some pics in a bit.

ran out of blue leds, so wanted to c how red would look for next time.

unless you used a different type of led than you wouldnt need to change the resistors or anything. So unless that was the case theres no way they wouldve burned out either and judging by the fact that only two are out and not all of them i doubt this is the case. Id check the soldering and connections for the the ones that were out first, that seems to be the most logical problem. And yeah f4i gauges are in high demand, a lot of people with other bikes try to switch to these so they can be quite expensive, $150 is almost a steal. So just go back and check out the connections on the leds that are out and go from there. I really like the red screen with the blue tach too.

Well i guess I will just get the $150 one, not sure if I really want to risk doing this again tho. If I do change the led change again I am slightly leaning toward the red with the blue tach but idk if I want to risk it. Oh but yeah I resoldered the tach lights n they started working, but that didnt work for the lcd screen and I didn't have any blue left, to bad I ruined the circuit board tho.
Of course now it is already sold on ebay...

yeah if the screen itself is out its not the leds im sure you messed up something but it can probably be fixed. The lcd screen for the radio on my one car is like that and if i just push it or hit it itll go back to normal. I dunno if its worth it hunting down the problem of that and fixing or not though. Itll be cheaper but could be a lot more work. its obviously a connection issue with the screen but i dont know exactly what so i cant help there. If you can the gauges for $150 then either way i guess its not that bad.
