Default Spark plug gap

I went to my local honda dealer and they gave me some what I thought to be outragues prices. 60 a tire for mount and balance 18 a spark plug and 90 to put them in. He said they dont require replacment but that people usually do anyway. My question is can't I remove the tank and airbox and be at the top of the heads where the plugs should be? And if so whats the gap? I have taken the tank off before just never the airbox.

yes you can take off the tank and airbox and you'll see where you need to go.
as far as gap, manual says less than 1mm..or 0.04 inches.
part number is IMR9A-9H NGK or Denso IUH27D
$18 is way too much for a plug
$60 is right only if they take the tire on and off the bike for you...or for 2 wheels, otherwise, it's robbery!
