you will not be satisfied with any race tail, especially cheetah. The fit is horrible and its fiberglass work sucks...just spend some money and switch the subframe and cowl, it will be the best route, or go the targa cowl for 04-06

 

its the airtech one that i am considering. the 01-03 subframe and tail is also an option, but my new exhaust will not be a bolt one.....if i had to do it over i would have bought a used 01-03 tail and subframe and bought the devil high mount for the 01-03 models.

plus i dont want to "out source" my parts since my bike is getting repaired at parts411. i like to shop and sae money just like everyone, but its a littel rude to outsource parts when the shop that is repairing your bike is a parts vendor........ they sell the airtech tail and undertail, so for the sake of simplicity i will try to use parts that they have access to.
