I've found several clutch & brake levers on ebay that have the "Carbon Fiber Look". I have added some carbon fiber stuff to my bike (triple tree cover, gas cap cover, hugger) and was thinking of adding levers too. Anyone know of the quality though? I found these on ebay for $14.95 but can't tell if they're a sticker cover or anodized type finish. Seller has good feedback but didn't respond when I emailed asking. Anyone have these or something similar?

 

im not a fan of the CF look, and little things like that arent realy noticeable on the bike unless you tell someone to look that them directly. if you really like those levers then buy them.

 

i wouldn't recommend it. there's no point. it's not changing any of the functionality. It's the same exact lever w/ different paint. That might wear or fade over time.

 

I have them.I also have 600rr CF mirrors, CF triple cover. When the bike is put back together it will have CF accents throughout.

 

How's the quality?

get some nice crg shorty levers-lovely bit of kit with a reasonable price--can be found in the demon tweeks catalogue--dont know if demon tweeks have an outlet in good ol U.S. of A though

 

personally/ i've owned them myself. i honestly think they "look" like crap. they're cheap looking and in no way resemble real carbon fiber. if you have a CF triple tree cover, or tank pad. or hugger. these will stand out like a virgin on prom night when matched with the other real CF parts. but make your own decisions

 

CRG or Pazzo shorties, once you go shorty you never go back... ive got the pazzo's awesome stuff. cant go wrong with either though. Not a fan of the CF levels.. looks cheesy to me

 

i put a set of cf look levers on mine. i can't remember what i did to the one but the "look" part peeled back a little bit, so it's like a vinyl wrapped around it.
