only thing i can think of is the kick stand kill switch is doin something

 

I think I accidentally hit the fuel switch/engine cut off switch. I tried that today and it is exactly like what happened when I had the problem. I just don't remember if I had the clutch squeezed while I tried to restart, because at the time, the bike didn't restart while I was riding.

I dunno how you accidentally hit the kill switch. I've hit the horn a few times...tryin to use the turn signals, but what the hell you use your right thumb for?

I don't know. It all happened really fast. I probably just inadvertently moved my hand.

 

i had a similar problem. i just installed a 6x9 speaker in the passenger seat. my bike kept cutting off on me while i was riding. when it shut off, i was able to pull in the clutch and then hit the starter to get her to turn on again. it was a simple fix. the battery bolt vibrated loose. i just tightened it up and my bike was working fine after that.

yeah something like that. a lot of people ride with music. i feel safer listening to road traffic so i installed a stereo instead of using earphones.
