Did a little work last night on it, taking advantage of this long weekend. Going to do sort of a "How To" write up to track it.

I decided to do the infamous Rear Shock Reservoir can cover, and it was between these two to use.

Decided on the Red Bull can, Its just slightly bigger than the reservoir.

Just a poser shot inside, I take alot of pictures if you haven't noticed yet.

The reservoir is ~4" from end to end, with the **** protruding a big on the end, and then the hose and connections on the front end.

I decided I wanted to keep the can intact, so I drilled out the bottom to drain it.

I used a hole saw to cut out the bottom, but it didnt turn out quite like I hoped

So I pulled out my dremel and cut away along the ridge on the bottom of the can.

Now the can will be bigger around than the reservoir, which is why most people cut the backside of the can and just wrap it. I used some velcro strips I had laying around to make up that space, and made a nice snug fit.

Then I had some extra LED strips laying around from my truck, and I decided to see how they look. Squidtastic, I know, but I dont roll around with them on. Just parking lot show.

Just one strip under the swingarm.

I dont have alot of plastic on mine so I had to route the wires inside and hide the strips. Took some trial and error but found some good places.

Now to find out what I wanna do about the front, since I dont have fairings to mount more strips to. Any ideas?

Not much of an update, just a few exhaust clips of it. People asked about the Delkevic on there so here it is.

This is a cold run of it. Bike hadn't warmed up quite yet.

And a good helmet cam with sound clip.

Good work man! Looking great. I've been meaning to do the red bull. soda/ beer can thing, just can't decide on a can.. Think I might go with a craft beer can since I'm in SD haha!

I also need to do the exact same thing with my kick stand.

Yeah my reservoir was all dingy and stuck out really bad so I decided to make it stick out for a good reason. Plus it gives it a little more protection from the elements.

And thanks. I am looking into a tail swap this winter, as well as trying to repaint the tank and helmet. And paint matching some of the other small things.

Went and picked up my bike from its resting place in a barn for this long Alaskan winter.

Got pulled over by an Alaska State Trooper and when I pulled onto the shoulder, I hit a pothole and the strap snapped so it fell and crushed in the tank a bit.

But the bike is back at my place and ready to be tuned up and ridden as soon as the roads are cleared on base.

The new LED bar showed up today. Going to be replacing the cheapo headlight with this.

Fits the forks perfectly. Going to be putting it in the same spot as the headlight thats on it now. Fabbing up a sort of clamp bracket for each fork to mount it to.
