side stand

Default side stand

im havin a problem with my side stand it makes the bike sit too straight is there any way that i can get the bike to sit more angled like can i actually bend the stand a bit to make it sit lower coz i dont feel to safe about how its sitting right now?this is with the side stand...thanxs

Take it off, and bend it in a vise - that stand looks wrong - you sure it's the right one for your bike ?

^I wouldn't bend it.

They aren't supposed to lean over very far anyways, but yours may be more upright than most. It's probably not the right stand.

yeah they don't lean very far over, but they DO lean farther than that. I still wouldn't bend it.. but i'm confused.

Mine leans too far over. I think it's from pivoting the bike on the kickstand has bent it over time.

but yours looks like a light breeze could knock it over lol.

ps. chop that pipe! hahaha

Take the side stand off. Cut out a piece in the middle (1/2 - 1/4 inch... maybe). weld the foot back on. now you have a shorter sidestand. be sure to weld properly!

thats what im thinking too that a strong wind could knock it over,no my bike isnt lowered.

will do fellow canadian...?kinda weird coz when i was cleaning/waxing my chain a while ago ive noticed the bike was leaning lower than this picture(but still not low enough tho)ill take alook again also is there any part number written on the stand?
