Should I swap just one fork?

Should I swap just one fork?
ok, so i bent my left fork in my accident. i bought some used forks, and it turns out that the right fork has a verrrrry slight seal leak. (if your seals are in good condition, there should be absolutely no fork oil on the fork after compression, right?) so i have a few options. should i use the original right fork and my new left fork together? has anyone ever done this, or heard of any problems with it? or course they will need to be adjusted so that their settings match each other, but i can do that. or should i just rebuild both new shocks and use those? or do you think i even needed new forks:

RE: Should I swap just one fork?
well...if one has fork fluid that's like 3 years old, and the other 1 year old...you'll be able to tell the difference...
same goes for the springs, but not sure how much of a difference.
i'd rebuild both with correct spring rate for your weight...use stock seals unless you want leaks.
