I got my cct replaced 3000 miles ago. i cant belive that honda is making such crappy products. how can they make an engine that is one of the best and crappy parts to go around it.

Do you guys think that the part is under warrenty?

just get a manual cct from APE, you will be 100000 times happier, and yes honda makes a ****ty cct, just replace it and move on

 

Oil pressure is the problem. It makes the CCT not function correctly. I put a new one on my bike about a month ago, and the sound i back. But only at startup. Once the bike warms up, the sound is gone. Unless i shut it off, and start it again. Then it is there for a min again until the oil gets pumped through.. Just get a manual one like suggested. Since it doesnt rely on the pressure from the oil,you shouldnt have any more problems. I will be putting one on mine this winter, if not before. Depends on if it lasts.
