Default Seat mods

Riding on long rides often gets uncomfortable. I don't really have the cash to shell out for a corbin seat. Has anyone done a seat mod to make it more comfortable or have any suggestions. Would an upholstery shop be able to recushion it or something? Anyone have any ideas?

If you live near Seattle, I went to this guy:

http://www.richscustomseats.com/

He really knows what he's doing, and did a great job. They're not all that cheap, but well worth it IMHO.

I watched this guy modify my seat and it took him about 8 hours with me constantly testing it at various intervals. I would guess that just doing a "home made" job would be a bad idea, 'cause it would probably just make things worse! It really was quite complicated.

Just add some more foam and staple everthing back on. I've presonally learned to deal with it.

Corbin seats have drooped in price quite A bit in the last few months for some reason. I just bought one from www.denniskirk.com for A bit over $200. And what A difference it makes. In my opinion, Totally worth it.
