who made mods to their repsol? and what mods did you do?
just wondering, how many of you repsol owners had the guts to modify your repsol with aftermarket parts or whatever. can i see a pic of your mod? I just can't
get myself to actually remove something off the bike and replace it with an aftermarket accessories except for the seat cowl. All the bikes I've had had some kind of mods done to them. Perfect example is my '03 CBR954RR. lots of chrome and stuff, but fully stock.by the way,
it's for sale guys!!! only got 2,000 miles. too busy working to do some serious rides.
but with my repsol, I just feel guilty about changing anything since it's somewhat a "limited edition" well...so they say, well, in a sense it is limited, coz' compared to a other bikes
there were only a thousand or so that was made. So, since I won't mess around with mine, I'd like to see a pic of those that was modified by their owners.
any volunteers, GUYS?!!!

RE: who made mods to their repsol? and what mods did you do?
The first thing was the rear fender. Then all of the stock turn signals had to go. They were replaced with LP LEDs in the rear and garage made flush mount LEDs in the front. All those damn reflectors were hacked off. I made a purple LED light kit for it. Added Woodcraft frame sliders. (Cutting the stock plastic is gut wrenching) K&N filter. Re worked the stock can with a hole saw, dremmel, and a mig welder. Flapper mod, And the exhaust valve cables are in the corner of the garage. To me, one of the best parts of owning a bike is putting work into it to make it your own. Check out my "gallery" under my user profile if you care to see the bike.

wow! that was quite abit of work you did. tell me, did you feel any guilt at all doing it. I'm selling my 03 CBR, then I'll use the money to put a down payment on another bike, then I'll work on that bike. you're right tho, it's just not a unique bike if you don't do any kind of mods to it. I like the MOTOGP pipe setup? what did it cost you to do this? how doe an arrow pipe sound like? mind if I save a copy of your pics on my laptop?
GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't do it either, huh? I mean, do a lot of mods. that's how I feel about it. just can't get myself to mess around with it. I've always wanted a copy of repsol's racing bike back
when Mick Doohan was racing for them. So when they finally decided to make a replica, got one and I promised myself I'll keep it stock. but I like the micron pipe, tho. it looks clean and you can't tell it's been replaced. how does it sound tho. I like loud pipes. can you make adjustment to it to make it loud? GOOD JOB!!!

I put the Micron twin outlet on my bike also. I liked the triangular look better than the oval or circular varieties. I also like the fact that it doesn't stick out past the tail section, sounds good, not too loud but has a nice throaty sound to it. I just put the PCIII USB on it today and did the flapper mod. I'm waiting for a set of 5 spoke wheels to arrive, orange of course, and I'll post some pics when I get them. I'm like you, I want to keep it as original as possible. EVERYTHING I take off, such as the muffler and such I still have. I went with the wheels just for the fact that I HATE the look of the three spokes.
