I have an 02 F4i but it doesn't have the seat lock. Not sure what happened to it, I bought it used. The previous owner rigged a tywrap to the cable out a hole for the time being. I want to know my options for getting this fixed. If i was to get a new lock I'd have another key for the bike and I don't really want to do that. Suggestions?

 

well either you have that option or you have honda make you a lock for your key. also i have seen people create a push button that unlocks the rear seat.

 

I'm guessing it'll be expensive to get a new lock to match the key. I didn't even think that was possible.

I'd like to know more on the push button idea. Is there a good way to search for it?
