Ok this might be a stupid ? but I am dumbfounded when it comes to this. I have a 600 f4i and back near the rear seat on both sides are those 2 bolt like things come out on each side. What the heck are they for? I can't figure that out. Is that for tying stuff down or something.

 

On my F4 they look like upside down hooks. If you are talking about the same thing, then yes they are used as tie downs.

 

u must be talking about the 2 bolts that is on the outside of the rear cowl...yea those are tie-downs for a net

 

They also bolt the fairing into the chasis
