ok so for fathers day i'm getting the delkevic (sp) fairing kit. and i'm going to paint it imola orange in honor of my old s2k. but i can't find a guide on how to put the fairings on. the bike came busted up a little and only has a single rear cowl and a headlight fairing that is so loose and doesn't fit so i don't want to put it on how the previous owner did because obviously its wrong. thanks for the point in the right direction.

yea i have a manual but its at the mom's house haha. but i know there are things done differently/better on the how to's just wasn't sure if there was one out there. so i'll just wait and look through the manual. thanks for the quick reply and it came from a fellow philly. i'm in horsham if you ever want to get out for a cruise.

Best tip I've heard is don't play with fairing in cold weather
Aftermarket fairings tend to need tweaks to get proper fitment. I've never installed any AM kits. Only thing I'd suggest is not tightening anything down till you've got all the screws at least partially screwed in. Easier to make adjustments as needed and everything will flex / stretch a bit. Tighten things slow and do them evenly, switching screws to do so.
As for a cruise, I've been looking for some good riding areas. Need to stretch my legs a bit and definitely need to get Yolie out of the daily commute And btw, I've got the bound manual round here somewhere

yea i was really worried about the fitment. but for the price and reviews it seems to be one of the best fitment kits out there but i don't trust anything until ive personally done it. yea i hear ya about the daily grind. i ride 100 miles round trip a day to work 5-6 days a week and it gets old very quickly. how is everything with the bike going? i read a few posts on how you had a accident i believe? hope all is well

1) Hold fairing up to bike.
2) Line up holes.
3) Install screws.
Honestly, though, you shouldn't need a manual to do this. It'll be pretty obvious. The only tough spots you might run into are getting the ram air ducts to align to the grills in the upper cowl, and getting the tail fairing past the skinny point (just needs a little push).
