Seafoam opinions
go for it.
a bit of seafoam or other decarbonizer in the fuel will clean carbon and bunk gas deposits naturally without doing any damage.
if you have performance problems resulting from carbon buildup, it'll make a difference, otherwise it will do nothing.
seafoam compresses past the rings as it doesn't want to burn off, so it will contaminate your oil sump a bit, so do this before an oil change.
results? i've had it DOUBLE the power on a grandma car that never went over 2,000rpm in its life. i've had it bring engines that had excess carbon buildup so bad that they would barely run and their valves were hung open back to near-zero leakdown. on a well maintained engine that was driven like it's supposed to be, i've noted zero improvement.

And I had it seize the engine of a pretty decent weed eater after about 30 seconds.
It won't clean varnjsh or other gas related buildup out of your carbs. But like previously said, it will ckean the carbon.

you poured in too much, man. way too much. i used to work at a service shop for weedeaters where we'd keep some in our service fuel, it never caused a problem.
