Ignition Coils Resistance Check
Hi All
I have just check my coils with a multi-meter.
My Haynes manual states the following:-
The primary resistance check should range between 1.1 to 1.5 ohms.
The secondary resistance check should range between 11.4 to 11.8 K-ohms.
My coils:
Coil 1. Primary 2.3 Secondary 11.36
Coil 2. Primary 1.5 Secondary 11.45
Coil 3 Primary 1.5 Secondary 11.44
Coil 4 Primary 1.8 Secondary 11.38
Obviously coils 1 & 2 are outside the ranges a little but it doesn't seem by much.
Is this a sure indication that both of these coils are faulty or is there another test I can do to confirm.
Again. Thanks for looking and thanks for any help offered.
