My buddy wrecked his 01 GSXR today, he took a turn a little too fast and hit the grass. You can imagine what happened from here. Thank God my friend is OK, he walked away without any injuries, but he is REALLY PISSED off about his bike. He is already looking about parting the bike out so my question is, are the Scotts steering dampers universal? With the one off his 01 GSXR 600 fit my 01 F4I.

 

Yeah I'm pretty sure the damper itself can be switched off to different bike-specific mounting kits.

You'll just need the mounting kit for your CBR...the actual damper is universal. When you call/purchase, just verify it.
