But you maybe able to find them on ebay for cheaper. I might grab one for the 04, but other stuff takes priority.

www.ridersinc.com GPR or scotts... I think they carry the ohlins as well... got my gpr for 340 from them.

Well ordered a GPR for 350.00 didn't find anything cheaper. and this gut dosn't charge me a restock if I don't like it he also puts it on for free.

Why would someone want one if don't ride on track? Just asking never ridden a bike iwth one to compare....thanks

street surfaces are rougher than track surfaces... if you get a little bit of wheel lift I can imagine that it might actually be harder to control the set down than on the track.. I've gotten wheel lift on both and brought them down straight but ya never know... go around a corner and hit some gravel with the rear = tank slapper... steering damper will help prevent that.

A friend of mine almost dumped his Ducati when he hit some bumpy pavement going 70 mph. His handlebars were all over the place. He somehow recovered it, but a damper would have helped a bunch.

Isn't this from having your suspension set up wrong? Just curious?

How many of you guys have had problems with bumpy roads? I'm starting to think maybe I need one, but I'm still trying to recover from bike, MSF, registration and gear costs!
