Default rr vs f4i in rain and wind

thought id start a new thread for this question similar to 'riding in rain'. how does the rr compare to t he f4i in rain and wind? because
the RR is lighter, does it get pushed in the wind easily and does it slide in rain? my dilemma is that i have a '02 red n black f4i (which is
awesome) and thinking about trading in for an RR. what do you do when you absolutely love the sharp aggressive edges of the RR
(gsxr, r6) but are not a full 'track' rider and dont need extra power? im an everyday rider, been riding for 5 years (not a squid,
honestly) i just admit i love the look of the RR. what are the alternatives? i wish the F4i had a little more sharper angles or Honda
would come out with a supersport version of the F4i. ; )

then just get it!?!??! you don't have to be a tracker or racer to buy an RR...in fact...the majority of sportbikes never see canyons or track riding...so get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why?
1. you're honest...you said straight up...i like the edges, blah blah blah...not like others who say...i need more this and that, blah blah blah...yet never see the track...

2. you want it!

3. it's pimp whether you're sitting at your local starbucks admiring your bike or sleeping in the garage next to it...

4. list goes on and on...so if you can afford it...DO IT!

Dude you are talking tenths of a second here most likely. I doubt there would be much of an advantage to either in adverse conditions.

I think the stock RR & F4i would be so close in comparison in these conditions that you wouldn't notice a difference. It would all depend on the rider experience and traction of the tires.

I think it is called the RR - lol-

I agree with you, the changes I'd like for the F4i would be a few more CCs and an underseat exhaust, other than that I thinks it is perfect.

i gotta ask, why and why?
a 600 is a 600. absolutely no need for more power out of the bike.
undertail exaust, why do people bust a nut over that design? doenst look any better or any worse imo. to me its just a gimmik.

Both are great bikes but as far as day to day street riding you probably won't see much difference except your back hurting alittle more from the RR's more aggressive riding position. But you are right the RR does look bad ***, especially the 05 + (?) with the inverted forks.

I went from the F4i to the 1000RR, so not exactly what you're talking about, but the RR's more aggressive riding position will take a bit to get used to. But you will get used to it. I ride longer and further on my 1000RR without stopping than most people I know and I'm 48 years old. That's why most of the time I ride by myself. If I go out for a ride and use less than 2 tanks of gas, I feel cheated.

Like Tahoe said -- if you want it and can honestly afford it, do it!

please excuse my ignorance, but i've seen the term used many times....aside from what i've assumed......what exactly does " a squid" mean....i figure it means a poser etc. but why "a squid" why not just get simple and call them "a ***" or something? again, please excuse my stupidity, but curiosity

because a '***' is a cigarette or a derogatory term for a homosexual male...a squid is neither of these...
squid can be many things...a poser, someone who rides without any regard for personal or safety of others...basically OG for squirley kid, someone who can't even control the bike, etc.
