Default RR engine in my F4i

Hey guys, first post here on the forum. I own an 01 F4i with 11K, i bought the bike about three months ago and I dumped it last week subsequently busting the stator cover stator and flywheel up. While I was in search of a new stator and flywheel I stumbled on a complete RR engine with throttle bodies and header. What I'm wondering is will this engine work in my bike, I noticed that the RR has a different oiling configuration and I know it has a different FI setup. What can be used what can't?

You will probably ask "why would you swap the engine because you busted up your stator?" Answer being I also busted two holes in the engine case where the stator cover bolts fasen and only have five out of nine bolt holes are intact to seal the cover. The new engine was cheep and only has 7K on it from what I've been told.

Thanks for reading, I appreciate any help you can offer.

Looks like I'll be trying to get the stator cover to seal and parting out the RR engine, they look like they're pretty different.

if i remember correctly rr's use the motor as the swingarm pivot point without going through the frame

anything's possible with a little or a **** load of work
this would fall into the latter category

Well I need to ascertain the year of this engine for sure so that I can decide whether or not I can use the parts from the generator. I have a feeling that it is an 05' motor not an 03' motor as I was told. Anyone know where I can find some helpful casting marks?
