Default rough iddle

My 2004 cbr f4i sat out in the shed where it's very cold for two weeks. When I went to try and start it it would start but it would shut off rigth away I don't know if this is normal or I need to do something. I would have to hold the throttle wide open and hold it so the engine would not shut off.I did winterize the bike before I put it away. Can anybody help me with this. I ho[e I didn't ruin it.

get it to running temps and see if it still does this. sounds to me like some stuff may have settled and maybe working it's way through the injectors or something.

did you ever fog the cylinders?, are you sure you ran enough stable through the motor? well if the motor is cold and has been sitting for weeks then the last thing you wanna do is hold the throttle down. if it doesnt start and idle properly then there is a good possiblity something is out of wack. check the plugs, check the wires, maybe the fuel lines are frozen, try using a space heater and heat the area around the bike alittle bit to see if the cold isnt the only factor

Listen to both the above statements. I don't put that stabilizer crap in my bike b/c to me there is no need. I start it here and there and ride it here and there. It hasn't sat more than 2 weeks withouth being started or ridden. While starting it, from letting it sit, it will have a rough idle. It's cold and if that were you sitting in one spot for a week or two, your *** would be like WTF, now want to move me...GRRR! How much stabilizer did you put in? Did you check everything else? Is it out of gear? ETC!

that kinda reminds me that one time my bike had sat for some time and i went to start it and when i gave it some gas it just for some reason shut off, and then would turn over again. Im pretty sure the fuel cut off had something to do with it, possibility would be to check electrical, not a probablitly but ive seen wierder things

Thanks alot guys for all the good advice. I did put the fuel stabilizer on the tank and I follow the instructions on the bottle. Actually after I get the bike started it starts fine after that. but I did not do nothing to the cyclinders but I will next time it's starting to get warm here a little bit so is almost riding time. thanks again for the good advice....
