Hey I have a 2006 f4i. I bought new rear turn signals. I need to know which color wires are the positive and which are the negative for the rear signals before i cut them.

You will have two that are the same color, but one has a stripe. The common/ground wire us normally green. Leave it connected and cut one of the other colors. Then test the lights to see which one still works. Or, get high tech on me and break out the multi meter or test light. Either way, you'll know the answer. And if I remember, the striped wire is the turn signals.

 

i think orange is left and blue is right, green is negative. I just put mine in wed
