Rear suspension question!

Rear suspension question!
Hey, I adjusted my suspension for the first time today and this was long overdue! I'm roughly 205lbs and today I adjusted the rear and front preload. I adjusted the rear preload to what I think is 7...however I'm not sure how you know what number it's on, is there a dash or something somewhere? It looked to me like the mark is somewhere on the left side, for the rear did get stiffer when the 7 was lined up with the side, but I want to make sure that is correct. I also stiffened up the front preload until no lines were present - basically the very last line is just hardly visible. I have left the compression/damping on the stock settings so far. Should I play around with those too, or should I just leave them on stock settings? Thanks!

RE: Rear suspension question!
Whoa... front pre-load is way to stiff !!!
Go here and start with there basic settings and tweak from there. These will get you close. Rear pre-load at 5-6 should get you close on your sag but really should be set properly.

RE: Rear suspension question!
If you have any pro suspension guys in your area I'd highly recommend having them set the bike up for you, it'll be the best ~$40.00 you ever spent.Ihad my bike set to the sportrider mag specs and they are IMO completely useless to anyone except the person who came up with them.
