Default Rear Shock Question

I am looking at a ohlin's rear shock that someone has and he says it is for f4/f4i's. I just wanted to make sure that this will work on our bikes. I have a 2002 F4i. Are the rear shocks setups the same in F4 and 2001-2003 F4i's ?

they are a bit different but will work.
i think the F4 shock is supposed to have less adjustability than the F4i or something like that...but they will work...

ohlins...DO IT MANG! make sure the spring rate matches your weight though.

it comes with 5 rear springs ranging from 155-220lbs and I am about 145 so I figure with gear and everything I would be okay with the 155 spring. How less adjustable is the F4 setup any way I can check and see if it is really for an F4i or F4.

Thank,
Nick

ask for the part number F4i is 46prxls and F4 is 46prcls i believe...i the difference is that x allows you to adjust both high speed and low speed compression...C just has one for both...but either one for about 600 bucks is an awesome buy!

also i was wondering if you could tell me where I can find out info on some springs. These are the springs that are coming with the shock.

(2) 1093-49/130 L450
(2) 1093-44/120 180
(1) 1093-49/130 189
(1) 1093-29/140 359

I checked ohlin's website but could not find anything. Any help would be great.

I would call an Ohlins retailer and ask them.
