On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, how hard is it to swap out the stock blinkers both front and rear with a new set of short stalks?

I will be attempting this mod over the weekend and have never ventured into this area before.

Thanx

I would also say 3. The hardest part will be to take off and put on the air duct cover. Can be a pain to screw back in if you dont line it up right from the get go. Other than that its a simple thing. Cant be more than an hour; TOPSSSS!!!

I guess the scary part for me is it looks like I need to cut the wires to remove the stock blinkers. This does not set well with me, I can't afford a mistake. Is there a harness that plugs into the stock blinkers or is it just cut, strip, and attatch?

First, I dont think you will have to have a reason to cut, they should come with a harness.
Even if you do cut just make sure you have enough wire length for the job. Its very difficult to make a mistake.

If you buy high quality stuff, they may plug right in. If not, cut your old signals off past the connector so you can reuse the connector for your new turn signals. Solder the wires and shrink wrap them to do a super tweaker good job.

Then, take your old turn signals and do a burnout on them.

Super super easy. You don't have to take off the air ducts like people say. Just listen the fairing and pull it back a bit, use a wrench to take off the back bolt then cut the wires from the outside.
