Rain Prep
Keep your chain cleaned and lubed.
Keep your tires properly inflated and make sure they have decent tread and aren't old and dried out.
Other than that, stay aware and enjoy yourself. You won't melt, and neither will your bike.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I have the weatherproof jacket covered. Riding pants are next, along with boots. Most things mentioned I have covered already, so that is a plus.
Have had some pretty nasty rains here already this summer and am not seeing any issues with the electrical components. Another plus.
Again, thanks everyone.

Motorcycles are designed to be ridden in rain or shine, like cars. I've ridden in rain for years w/o problems, from one side of the country to the other. I've ridden in monsoon season in southern AZ on a Honda & it ran like a champ during some of the heaviest rains you've ever seen! I'll ride my Hondas (& other bikes) in rain any day w/o worries.

Amazing how there are more old Hondas still on the road today than any other motorcycle. ;-)
