Hey guys, just a thought that popped into my mind after last night. This kid my brother works with has a v8 mustang with a cai and exhaust and says he can beat anyone in this town. My brother told him that I'd be happy to take his money at $50 a pass. Just wondered how many of you guys have had to put people in their places.

 

A couple of buddies of mine used to do that in there cars.
One had a 91 escort with rust on the fenders but 450HP.
and the other was like a 83 RX-7 with the 20B engine and like 500HP but he raced the oval track and would destroy every person he raced.

Im still new to bikes so I haven't been to the tracks on it yet.

 

I have only had to put fart can honda's in there place (which is a waist of time). Everyone else with a decent car knows bikes are usually faster and gives respect to bikes.

the rice burners seem to think they run 8's in the 1/4 and come rev at me when they pull up... needless to say, all they see after that is my integrated tail ha ha

but the guys with drag cars and ferraris etc. arent really out to prove anything against bikes knowing that its not really much of a fair race so i agree with that, they do give respect to us bikers

Keep your thoughts to yourself, if I wanted to hear how bad a thread is then in the original post I would've said "guys tell me this is a horrible thread if you think so". I just wanted to know how often you guys get people thinking they are hot stuff and come up next to you revving but get smoked.

 

You started a thread about street racing, which is greatly frowned upon in almost every forum on the net for one of two reasons: A: Either the forum is uptight and doesn't condone illegal activity's that endanger the lives of others on the road and put you in jail being talked about or B: Its immature and done by 16yr olds new to being on the road. "Racing" on side streets between stoplights gets old after you've done it a couple years and you relize half the people aren't even "racing" you and you just look like a fool trying so hard. Its awesome to have a fast vehicle, its foolish to think its the fastest whatever it is.
BTW, you seem a bit upset by my post. Uptight much? Its the internet, try to remain calm. I've made horrible posts too, everyone does.

 

I'm not uptight I'm just saying some things you need to keep to yourself. You don't always have to voice your opinions just because you can. And I put this post up to see how often this happens to everyone else. Yes, I may be 17, but no I do not go as fast as I can at all times. I know my bike isn't the fastest thing ever, but I can't stand people who think that just because they have a mustang that they are fast! So i told him how it was. Get off my back

Btw, few cars worth < $100k won't get walked on by any 600.
