Default Quick Tires question.

Will I notice a difference in riding if the brand of my front and rear tires are different? When I boughtthe bike, the front tire isa PP and the rear tire is a Continental. I have never really thought about any "feel" differences it would make since tires seem to allbe the same to me. They both appear to be fairly new.

Continentals are less expensive tire and by PP, I assume you mean pilot powers? Looks like someone bought the cheapest tire they could to sell the bike.

It all really depends on how you ride. If you don't notice a difference, than you don't need expensive tires. I can tell a difference in Dunlop Qualifiers and Dunlop 208s. And there's a big difference from either of those and the Pirelli Stradas I have now. They take for ever to warm up and forget about riding hard on a cool 60 degree day.

muahahah...that's what you get for downgrading from street/sport tire to more sport touring tire...don mang!

when you start pushing hard then it may be a problem...but if you're just riding around town, not dragging knee, etc...you'll be ok.

I was trying to stop buying tires every 3k miles. That sucked and I was hoping the stradas would be a cross between sport touring and some good shoes. They do alright when it's hot out, but you have to work at it a little more.
