Question about FI Light
yesterday I got back from a ride and was pushing it into the garage when the FI had a dim glow to it. I turned off the key and then turned it on and it wasn't there any more. I then started the bike and no FI light. Shut it off, no light.
When the FI shows and error code, is it dim or bright? I'm betting its bright. I dont see why it would be bright when I turn the cut off switch and not when it gives a code.
Does anyone think I should be worried.
Thanks

If you have no FI light at all, even when turning on, sounds like maybe the LED (is that what's behind the panel?) is dead for some reason. There's no variation in the brightness whether it's just on or giving a code as far as I've noticed.
the light turns on when it is supposed to ( when fuel pump primes ). my question was, when the FI light comes on to display an error, will it be fully lit or just dimly lit?
I saw it dimly light when the bike was off with the key on and I am wondering why.

Oh ok- sounded like it wasn't on at all.
Error codes don't show when the bike is off, they show when you turn it on, and there's no variance in the brightness. If you saw it dimly lit when the key was in but bike off- maybe some refracted light from another control panel light? Was it particularly dark where you were?
