What light is on? Does it turn over at all?? Check fuses if no crank

Oil light will usually be on with the ignition on and engine not running = no oil pressure means the sensor is going to trip the light.

With the ignition run switch in the off position, crank the bike over for 4-5 seconds - the oil light will usually go out as turning the motor over has circulated enough oil to build up pressure.

I'm with iJapanesey - we need more detail about what is happening, your post isn't very descriptive.

oil light is going to be on unless the motor fires up. It may go out while cranking, but let off the starter and the light should come back on. If the motor isn't running, there is no oil pressure. No oil pressure means that light should come on. both of the other bikes in your sig should act the same way.

you say the bike "doesn't turn over". to most people, that means when you press the starter nothing happens - the starter motor isn't turning the motor over. Is that what you mean?
