When you take off your headlights, inbetween the the lights there is a connector. What is that connector for??

 

if it is the one actually on the headlight housing i think its the european running light which we dont have but ive been thinking bout adding.

Most likely the one you're talking about is the bank angle sensor, it sits right between the 2 headlights.

 

i think hes talking about the hole with the rubber grommet attached....if so it is as stated before a center light that is used to destinguish a bike from a car with a headlight out...most sportbikes have them nowadays

 

i think he is also talking about the bank angle sensor... in any case, if it is, the sensor is to automatically shut down the engine if the bike tilts more then "normal amounts"...

do the euro models have that running light because they have the option to turn off both headlights? or are they forced to leave one headlight on running all the time like we are in the US.

 

tip over sensor(bank angle sensor) it had a red,white and green wire coming out of it

 

i think he is taking about the socket. is it a black plastic connector?

 

I had been wondering about the possibility there could be a running light there too. Anybody have one?

 

Looking through bikepics.com looks like the euro's have a third bulb.
