Default Push/ Pull throttle cable question.

Am I right in thinking that the push and the pull cables for the F4i throttle are the same part? I want to replace mine because the metal routing where they meet the throttle on the handle bar is worn. Just wondering if I can order two of the same part?

They have 2 different part numbers, but sometimes the difference is just in the length of the adjuster barrel. Honda Motorcycle Parts 2004 CBR600F4 A HANDLE LEVER + SWITCH + CABLE (01-06) Diagram

Why not just order one of each? They are the same price...

Thanks for the info. I just looked at the parts diagram again and I see they have different part numbers, I must have misread it. The reason I thought it was the same cable in the first place was because when I was looking at aftermarket parts (as alternatives to the OEM cables) all I could find was the 'push' cable, I just assumed that if they were the same that would explain why there only seems to be one type. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up!

Are they hard to install?

They don't require tremendous mechanical abilities to install, just tremendous patience.
