Color charts from different manufacturers show it differently, but it's typically between 5-6k. Higher wattage bulbs wash out the color and appear white closer to 7-8k. I have 6k 35w from DDM Tuning and they have just a slight hint of blue. I'd just look at other bikes and talk to the owners to decide what you like best.
Ahhhh while I would indeed recommend looking at all of them yourself. You're 100% wrong about 7-8k range being closest to pure white. From any manufacturer.Regardless I went with 6k 35w as well. Just a little blue.

What are you talking about? I've never heard of anyone changing out reflectors because of installing an HID kit. You get the same bulb size, so the focus of light doesn't change, it's just increased. And even if the light is "splattered" everywhere, isn't peripheral lighting a good thing? I'm a big fan of being able to see more than just what's directly in front of me.
