I still can't decide between 6 or 8k hids :(

From what everyone else told me it's just personal preference on the color they give off

The 6000k are more white and are a tad brighter.
The 8000k have some blue in the for the custom look and reflect a tad more off signs etc. (You can see them way down the road)
The light output difference is not a drastic change just as stated above its just preference.

so 6 is as close as you can get to white?

I think I should order these tonight. its an 06 cbr600rr..thats the H7 bulb correct?

NateDieselF4i 04-27-2011 08:21 PM

5k is actually the closest to pure white.

8k's are too blue for my liking. I feel like it retracts from the "usable" light and it isn't as bright.

I have 6k's. I would get either 5 or 6k's

35w no matter what you choose.

thx man. I can't wait to put these on already but...

pretty upset..he didn't got off work til after 6 so we couldn't get it done. going in the morning bright and early to sign the papers at the bank and get the bill of sale notorized as well. his dad is the co-signer so since his son has to work, we had him sign the bill of sale and their loan papers and I'm going in the morning to sign my part. He told me to give him a call after that and he would meet up with me to give me the key to the bike so I can go pick it up.
