I want to install HID's but since my bike is a stunt bike I don't know how well they will stand up to the shock of the bike hitting the ground alot. Anyone know which is more durable, HID's or the halogens?

Well, I ordered mine the 27th and the thing says they are still pending fulfillment of my order. I'm going to get pretty pissed if they aren't shipped soon.

There are alot of reviews here saying they take awhile to ship but you can't really expect a quality product and a excellent price shipped instantly. You usually get 2 out of the 3.

Would be nice to get 3 out of 3 though!

DDM - Not the fastest perhaps, but the best value and great quality out there.

are you guys just installing the hid kids into the stock housing or doing a retrofit? your stock reflectors/head light fixtures are designed for halogens the light output will be bright but the beam will be splattered everywhere. you won't have that proper cutoff pattern like you should with an hid kit.

I have 6k's. I would get either 5 or 6k's

35w no matter what you choose.
Color charts from different manufacturers show it differently, but it's typically between 5-6k. Higher wattage bulbs wash out the color and appear white closer to 7-8k. I have 6k 35w from DDM Tuning and they have just a slight hint of blue. I'd just look at other bikes and talk to the owners to decide what you like best.

What are you talking about? I've never heard of anyone changing out reflectors because of installing an HID kit. You get the same bulb size, so the focus of light doesn't change, it's just increased. And even if the light is "splattered" everywhere, isn't peripheral lighting a good thing? I'm a big fan of being able to see more than just what's directly in front of me.
