well its not an attack at FFCBR. obviously the fire captain had a reason to turn on his lights and most of them will use good judgement, but not all. but yeah many firefighters are on powertrips and sit at the firehouse waiting for fires and are happy when one turns up. which is messed up.

few months ago there was an arson problem going on around philly and i said as soon as it started 100 bucks its a firefighter doing it. sure enough it was. ive hung out with firefighters in the past and i will no longer associate myself with them as a person. im not bad mouthing them because i respect what they do. just stick to your job and dont overstep your boundries.

MR FFCBR-

go save a kitten from a tree and quit thinking you are better than the rest of us.!!!!
Wow. When did I ever say or imply that I was better than all of you? I came into the profession because I felt I had an altruistic personality, and all I've ever wanted to do was help. I have no such power trip because I feel like I have no power to abuse; I'm just there to help people. I don't know what kind of firefighters you guys know of or hang around, but their actions and behaviors do not represent the rest of us.

This will be my last post in this thread because I feel like it may take a turn for the worst. Moreover, I don't want to thread jack you, so I'm sorry if I did. Anyways, jdizzelwht/red01, you need a serious attitude adjustment =]

I know lots of fire fighters and they are all very nice people that cant wait to help with anything. One guy is a mechanic on the side and he is always helping people out for free in the neighborhood. Im sure you still have your a hole firefighters just like there are a holes in every profession.

I live in a pretty small town that has a very limited amount of bikes old people will tell the cops we're racing down the streets and doing wheelies. When I get pulled over and they ask if I have been recklessly driving I always blame it on the kids with the suzukis. haha the old people dont know the difference between any of the bikes so theres no proof who it was......

I ****ing hate people that talk like this. You were speeding, you have NO right to complain about getting pulled over. Yes, "good thing" you slowed down...

I get pulled over ALOT. At least 3 a year, no big deal, I know it is a sickness. I have found that the very best thing to say when asked 'Any reason for going so fast?' is

You saw me before I saw you.

If you get a grin, you are in the clear.
