Exactly. Theres a time and a place for everything. I have 2 speeding tickets in my car in 7 years. None on my bike in 1 year. I cruise around slower on the bike than in my car just because I feel like I have a target on my back when on the bike. I still get stupid occasionally. Its just on some old back roads where nobody is

I've been pulled over four times, and I've had my bike for 6 months. However, the cops around here are pretty cool, unless you're being totally reckless. I was accelerating past 75, in a 45, when the lights came on, cop almost had a head on with me, but when he got out, just told me to slow it down, got back in his car, and left.

And as far as the " I am giving bikers a bad name"
how about this
F- u

start with that
Let's start with this..say if I decided to be a freakin moron and run and end up slamming into your wife/gf/kids whatever and killing them, how would you feel? Pretty mad no doubt. I know I would be. So think of all the innocent people you put at risk when you make dumb @zz decisions. I'm not trying to cut you down or anything. I know how i feel when i have my 600 between my legs and there's a straight road.. I'm just asking you think about it next time. I wouldn't want you killed or anyone else. We all just have to keep our minds about riding.. So yeah, not trying to harass you about your riding dude..I know you're def not the only one that makes bad decisons. We cool?

Fire fighters think they are cops.. F them!!!
go find a kitten in a burning tree somewhere.
It's funny how you don't like firefighters until you're in trouble and you need them. Who do you call? Sorry, but Ghostbusters won't help you.

I been pulled over about 6 times in 2004 through 2006. Anywhere from 10+ to 35+ mph in SoCal. Each time I have been let go of with a warning. I think the key is having all your gears on when you are riding. Also, after you stop, turn off the engine and put your hands on the tank. Don't even take off your helmet without asking permission from the cop. Always have your documents with you. Remember, if you have all your documents and you are polite, you do have a chance of getting off with a warning because IMO a lot of people ride out there stupid without license and registration.
