I just bought an 01 F4i and it seems to be in really good shape, but randomly when im out riding both turn signal lights and my high beam light up on my consol and bike.If i push the turn signal or high beam light switches while the lights are on the engine juse dies. I am new with bikes and I have no idea what the problem would be...It does have aftermarket turn signals, i didnt kno if it was wired wrong if that could cause this problem........any suggestion would be great because im frustrated and just wanna be able to ride....

 

my buddies F4 did this, he pulled over then took off the seat and played with the fuse's and it always started right up, sounds like theres just a pinched wire somewhere or somthing.

 

check out all the wires of your blinkers and make sure they are tight and secured. Also look at the main plug that connects to your speedometer.
make sure everything is well connected
look at the battery and make sure the connection is tight in the + and -
check for any foul fuse
