I recently picked up on 01 F4i. It was laid down on both sides (yikes!). But since low mileage f4i's are hard to find around here i thought i would take on the project of giving it a makeover.. ( since us girls love makeovers!) :-)


Here it is when I first got it.. all stock and scratched








First up was to remove all the stickers.. not much fun.





Removed all the fairings for paint...





Right before cutting off the stock undertray...





Then finally got it painted and fairings back on. Also painted the inside of the windscreen black... (still waiting on front signals)







Got the Undertail off ebay from XDCycle... its a besteem I think. It looks pretty good. the LEDs could be a bit brighter though.




I still plan on adding some decals once the paint cures completely.
Also I cant wait to get an exhaust, not sure which one yet though. What do you guys think so far? Any suggestions welcome!

 

Looks great! Go with the Micron High Mount exhaust, it looks and sounds great. What did it cost you to paint the bike.

 

Thanks! It was less than $100 to paint (including bodywork materials). Thank God I had a friend to help me. we did it over a 3 day period.

I like the look of the highmount exhausts, have never heard the micron in person though.
