Default problem with idle

Ok when I first start my bike it idle at 2k. After I let it warm up and rid it and come to a stop the idle goes up to 3k. But it does always stay at 3k , some times its at 1300 like normal. What would make the idle change like this? My fi light is on and it gives me a code thats not in the service manual 34.Has anyone had this problem before?

If your bike goes up to 3000 then comes down to normal after the temp. is over 100, that is normal. And the FI light. I had a problem with mine and it was giving me some crazy code. I turned out something was unplugged. Id take off the fairings and check all the connections.

I think youve got everyone stumped with the 34 code. Book says the codes stop at 33. Might want to stop by a Honda dealer and pick one of the service guys brain on that code. Might possibly be something as simple as a loose/poor connection of the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor (right side of engine).

Sure you're reading that code correctly? Might I suggest connecting an OBD scanner to it. Anyone know if it's standard OBD?
