RE: power surge and FI light
not sure what model, but I went oem and bought it at the stealership down the street, w/ new gasket. i high sided on this bike a year ago, broke my clavicle and had no issues with the bike. have a way lower speed low side and the bike felt all wacky......weird how things work.....when the weather clears, i'll do my customary hose and bolt check and hopefully get to the problem. thanks bro, appreciate the help on this....will keep you posted.

i've got my own theory on this one...
1) A loss of the battery connection won't make you gain power.Power loss, but not gain.If someone can explain that to me I'll give you a pultzer prize in awesome.
2) A map sensor error is in no way associated with the battery. A change in performance associated with a map sensor fault is a fuel related problem, not electrical.
3) I still love ya roj

just a theory. who knows maybe the cylinders are loading up a little becuase the coils don't have enogh power to completly burn the fuel out either.
and its not that your gaining power its that your bike is only running at its 89-90% of what it typically does so when you feel a slight increase it feels like a surge.
