hi guys i am new to this site hoping for some advice ? i have a 97 cbr 900 i have just been out for a little ride of a 100 miles or so part way through the spedo bounced up to 180mph and stayed there and the fromt lights went out (back ones were fine so was the brake light) this has happen twice now have to take the spedo apart and reset it by hand . it seem like the bike has a power surge and some times when it is warm it will turn over on the button over and over and i can only start it by bumping it ..i was wondering if the cdi unit was playing up any advice would be a great help many thanks pete .
