Default Is a power commander worth it?

Sorry if this has been covered before. I've read that to get the most out the power commander you need to have your bike dyno tuned. My f4i has a two brothers shorty pipe on it and i'm about to get a new air filter, perhaps a bmc. The bike runs perfect right now, but i have the chance to buy a power commander for a good price. I don't think there is a motorcylce tuner with a dyno where i live. Is it a waste of $150, or will it give me better fuel mileage and response with one of the maps listed on the dynojet sight. Anyone who can help please chime in. Thanks

Yes correct air fuel ratios are worth the money. The difference between max power and burning a hole in the piston is closer then you'd think.

Worth it if you just have a slip on?

Yeah. But like everything else it's only worth it if you're willing or wanting to spend the money on it.

Only worth it if you get it tuned. The "stock" maps from Dynojet aren't that spectacular (since they're really generic maps that will work for most people's bikes).
