Default power commander map for my f4i with a D&D Exhaust

i just bought a power commander 3 usb and I'm looking for the closest map that fits my bike ....i have a 2004 f4i with a D&D exhaust and a stock air filter ....i'm going to run the map for a f4i with a two brothers exhaust , Ive read that D&D and Two Brothers are relatively close in comparison....even the map for the two brothers exhaust says models 2001-02 so i'm not sure and that's the closest thing Dynojet has ...(this is the part were i swore a little in disappointment they didn't make it easy on me LOL)DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR ME , THERES NOTHING CONCRETE FOR MY BIKE ...THANX

i read that your going to want an air filter as well, i assume a higher flow one due to the fact the power commander regulates air/fuel mixture for better power, may as well go all out
K&N are cheaper than OEM filters anyways i think, but i dunno if they are still good.
i have a D&D exhaust as well and am interested in this topic too

k&n filters are lame. they let in too much debris. with the oem filter.. i open up the intake box.. and one side is spotless and the other dirty. With K&N... one side has debris and the other dirty.

I'm not sure I agree with the comments about K&N filters...........
I do know that my bike performs better with the K&N than with the standard filter and I've never had a debris problem.

With regard to the question re: power commander - maybe a call to Power Commander - they are sure to have the settings for your bike and the pipe you have fitted. They are very helpful. Google is your friend

funny thing about the filter is that the instructions state that you shouldn't clean the filter often because it performs better when it's somewhat dirty. a bit a ironic, since people buy it for the high flow...

Thanks for the responses ...I'm going to send in a request to Dynojet for a better map , I'll post my results .... as far as the air filter goes I would like better flow but not at the risk of allowing more debris to get in past the filter. I'm not sure what the benefits are if it performs better left somewhat dirty ....that defeats the purpose.

Who knows ?
All I know is I've been running a K&N in my 1000F for about 6 years and it goes like a train. And I don't wash the filter either.
I did find that it runs better with the K&N with Dynojets than a std filter though.

I have a K&N on my bike and car and they rock. They breathe very well and are re-useable!! (you have to still clean them and re-oil them).

not sure if I agree on the bad K&N comments either
